Holiday In The Park 2018 takes place on select days from November 16th until December 30th. The event is one of my personal favorites, and there are many things to get excited about each and every year. Below I will discuss 5 things I look forward to doing during Holiday In The Park 2018!
Watching Live Entertainment
There is no shortage of live entertainment during Holiday In The Park. From the popular ‘All I Want For Christmas’ stage show to the many live bands and choirs that choose to perform at the park, there’s something for everyone. Live entertainment is a must-do for everyone that visits Holiday In The Park, as there is no better way to get in the holiday spirit.
enjoying the merry marketplace
Introduced just last year, The Merry Marketplace is a winter wonderland located in the Texas section of the park. The Merry Marketplace is home to many unique shopping and dining experiences as well as an opportunity to visit Santa’s workshop. The Holiday Ham’s also call the Merry Marketplace home, with multiple performances taking place each night. This is by far my favorite section of the park during the winter season, and I am beyond excited for it to return.
sledding down The Frosty snow hill
The Frosty Snow Hill is usually the closest thing to sledding that Texan’s can get. Every day during Holiday In The Park, crews show up hours early to prepare this popular attraction for guests. The Frosty Snow Hill is known for getting pretty long lines, so hit it early if you can.
sipping hot chocolate with family
There's just something about Six Flags hot chocolate that makes it so special. For many families, getting a refillable hot chocolate tumblr is a yearly tradition during Holiday In The Park. These mugs allow for unlimited free refills the day of purchase and $1.99 refills for return visits. On those chilly Texas nights, there's nothing better than a cup of delicious hot chocolate.
SEEING 1,000,000+ Christmas lights
What would Holiday In The Park be without Christmas lights? By far my favorite part of the event is walking around and taking in all of the sights and sounds of the season. Seeing over a million beautiful Christmas lights sparkle above me really puts me in the Christmas spirit. While the regular season and Fright Fest are both incredibly fun and exciting, there's something about Holiday In The Park that creates feelings of awe and wonder that can't be beat.
